Winter Winds / Mumford & Sons

I have a year of good memories tied up in Mumford & Sons. When Glassnote (their label) sent me this album in 2009, I quickly fell in love. Along with millions of people – as they’re selling out their tours – nice job, boys!
I started a new ritual with a fun friend to head to a mountain top on Sundays at dusk, just in time for the glow of the sun going down. The very first Sunday we did this, there was a bottle of Jameson involved. It became a hilarious evening never to be repeated because my liver and my Mondays would never allow it.
That one Sunday was glowing and littered with Mumford & Sons.
Hooray for music like this that reaches the masses of the public.

Enjoy!

(ps: every damn song on their album from last year is great)
