Waylon + Silence

I traded in the streets of North Hollywood for the leaf covered, redwood tree lined, silence of the mountains.
With that, I’ve fallen even more in love with old country music. Willie Nelson has always been my most favorite artist, but now I’m digging up other classics, as well.  Waylon’s syrupy vocals are unmistakable.
I do love the older, more gritty, less commercially produced music that feels as genuine as the leather of their cowboy boots and the whiskey in their bottle.  That’s not to say there aren’t some amazing newer country artists, too.
But, there’s just something about Waylon & Willie on a Sunday…
