Y La Bamba / Juniper

I think Terrorbird describes them best, so, here’s a (lazy) copy and paste: Portland’s Y La Bamba have returned with an album of lush, layered harmonies and complex, charming arrangements. Produced by Steve Berlin, Los Lobos esteemed sax man, the album embraces frontwoman Luz Mendoza’s Mexican heritage with several songs in Spanish. Male and female vocals, and gorgeous guitar work.

I dig it. Esta muy bonita! PS: How pretty is this video.  Like them on Facebook!

Enjoy!
